My portfolio

This piece is made up of 8 triangles and flowers. I put a smiley face in the green triangle just as a little feature to my art. I just came up with the idea and put it on paper. One of my goals was just to make something original and make it my own and that's exactly what I did. My thoughts on this project were positive I thought I followed the rubric and executed the project adequately.
This piece of art is made up of a balloon with newspaper glue around it. I came up with the original idea of a leprechaun but I bit off more than I could chew with that so I ran out of time. I ended up taking the head off and turning it into a gumball with a mustache, hat and buck teeth. I could've definitely done better with this project if I picked a better idea from the start. But other than that for me starting on this two days before it was due I think I did well.

This art I made is made up of lines. I followed the rules on how to draw this from the packet, the fan on the top of the roof is the hardest part. I used a ruler, pencil, eraser and paper for this project. This drawing you had to make very precise lines and have every line going back to the vanishing point ( the black dot ). This whole packet of designs was very tough to do and I would not want to do this just for fun.

My pinch pot clay project was difficult, when I first started it kept cracking and would still be wet even when I would let it dry. I had to redo this project about 3 times till I got it right. It was fun because I got to be creative with what I wanted to make. I made two pumpkins stacked on top of each other and another pumpkin the was supposed to be attached to the bottom but sadly fell off right before the firing process. I would want to do this project again just to get it right the first time, I would make something more of my own.

This is my painting that I did, I relayed it off of the Bob Ross video "Towering Peaks", this was one of the most challenging assignments I've done so far but I achieved it very well. The snow on the mountains were the hardest part and so was the color matching, I would get a little frustrated with the paint because it would make the color I wanted. I had a lot of fun just doing what I can with the painting and following Bob, he makes it look very easy.
